Produced by Artemide, the Troco lamp by the Italian master architect and designer Vico Magistretti is a wonderfully simple synthesis of basic elements and materials. Composed of a blown opaline glass tube cut in the shape of an organ pipe which is fixed to a black lacquered metal bracket by means of a bakelite lamp holder and fixing ring. The Troco has been designed to be used on a table or fixed to a wall, producing exceptional quality of light thanks to the perfectly balanced inclination of the glass diffuser.Designed in two sizes, these are the larger model, in white opal glass and metal support. . The lamp holder with switch allows you to use them as a bedside lamp.

Engineer Gismondi and architect Mazza founded it in the 50s and at the beginning the architect was the only designer. In the late 50s and early 60s other designers were introduced, BBPR, Ponti, and then Magistretti who had the greatest commercial success with Eclisse.
