The Camera model designed by Gismondi represents the first productions of Artemide with a halogen lamp, this ceiling version with arm is rarer than the floor version.

Engineer Gismondi and architect Mazza founded it in the 50s and at the beginning the architect was the only designer. In the late 50s and early 60s other designers were introduced, BBPR, Ponti, and then Magistretti who had the greatest commercial success with Eclisse. Still active and always at an international level, it maintains high levels of quality combined with modern design.
