The Artemide Abolla suspension lamp was born in 1982, thanks to the synergies of C.P. & P.R. Associates. It is a rotating disk attached to the ceiling, on which the 2 cables that run inside the structure of a halogen dish rest, under tension thanks to an iron sphere of about kg. 1.8. The power cord is attached to the spotlight and can use a low wall socket. Max bulb power R7 500 w. with variator.

Engineer Gismondi and architect Mazza founded it in the 50s and at the beginning the architect was the only designer. In the late 50s and early 60s other designers were introduced, BBPR, Ponti, and then Magistretti who had the greatest commercial success with Eclisse.
