Velella ceiling or wall lamp, designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1967 for FLOS. In really good condition, complete with original box and Philips bulb included.

The name Flos, a flower in Latin, chosen by Castiglioni, with the help of Eisenkel from Merano who had experience in working with cocoon resin, to experiment with new lamps. The famous Taraxacum and Fantasma immediately identified the brand, also under the guidance of Sergio Gandini, who chose communication, packaging and evaluated ideas in close contact with the designers.
