Wall lamp, applique model Geco 2, design Perversi e Pavoni for Arteluce/Flos 90s
Arteluce, a well-known lighting brand in this case already in the post-Flos acquisition period, produced this post-modern wall lamp, in satin glass and polished aluminum. Designed by Pavoni and Perversi, the aluminum ring has some zoomorphic lines, which determine its name. In good overall condition with slight signs, it is of good size, height 60 cm, width 17 cm and depth approximately 10.
The name Flos, a flower in Latin, chosen by Castiglioni, with the help of Eisenkel from Merano who had experience in working with cocoon resin, to experiment with new lamps. The famous Taraxacum and Fantasma immediately identified the brand, also under the guidance of Sergio Gandini, who chose communication, packaging and evaluated ideas in close contact with the designers.
