It was born as a cabinet-making shop in the late 1800s, but the great industrial development took place in the post-war period. Closely linked to the concept of design, the most long-lasting and well-known collaboration is that with Giancarlo Piretti, creator of the Plia chair, the Platone table and the DSC106 seat for large spaces. The Plia was part of the MOMA exhibition "Italy: The New Domestic Landscape" organized by Emilio Ambasz.
