Set of two Dafne folding chairs by Gastone Rinaldi for Thema, iconic and essential design for a unique folding chair. Rinaldi son of Mario founder of Rima left and founded Thema in 1974 due to some internal conflicts, and continued his activity in the field of design. The Dafne model was nominated for the golden compass in 1979.

Thema was born in 1978 after internal disagreements at RIMA, Gastone Rinaldi decided to leave and undertake this new activity. One of the first successes was the Dafne chair, with which he received a mention at the Compasso d'Oro. He also re-edited the Saturno sofa, his design from 1958
