Carlo Scarpa is the master of Italian design, awarded an "honoris causa" degree in 1978, after having designed perhaps the most significant works of modern Italian architecture. From the restoration of Ca' Foscari, the Olivetti office in Piazza San Marco, the Mion tomb to name a few. The collaboration with Bernini was probably his longest-lasting partnership in design. The chairs have some defects, the leather is worn on the sides of the backrest and the covering underneath is cracked. The dimensions are height 103 cm width and depth 50 cm.
