One of the first works by Afra and Tobia Scarpa, a side table model 777, a pair of designers among the best known in the Made in Italy furniture scene, who collaborated with Dino Gavina, Flos, Stildomus, Molteni and indeed Cassina: the sofa and armchairs Soriana are a masterpieces. Born in Meda in 1927, it developed especially in the first post-war period with the famous collaborations of Gio Ponti, Leggera and Super Leggera chairs, De Carli with which it won the Compasso d'Oro model 683. With the collaboration of C&B, the development of polyurethane allowed new solutions for sofas and upholstered furniture. The Soriana sofa is an icon designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa.
