Parentesi lamp by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzù for Flos
Parentesi lamp by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzù for Flos
Suspension lamp designed by Castiglioni and Manzù, symbol of Flos and still in production and in 2021 for the 50th anniversary it was re-proposed in a limited series with its box. In excellent condition there are two small marks visible in the photo on the tubular, and only the counterweight is used. Complete with box from the period, unfortunately broken, but unique as it has no longer been used due to high costs.

The name Flos, a flower in Latin, chosen by Castiglioni, with the help of Eisenkel from Merano who had experience in working with cocoon resin, to experiment with new lamps. The famous Taraxacum and Fantasma immediately identified the brand, also under the guidance of Sergio Gandini, who chose communication, packaging and evaluated ideas in close contact with the designers.
